Power supply<br />
Installation Guide<br />
Connect the supplied power cables to the Power sockets of the matrix switch and<br />
the user module.<br />
A red<strong>und</strong>ant power supply can be achieved by optionally connecting another<br />
power cable to the Red. Power interface of the matrix switch.<br />
After the power cables have been connected, the devices can be switched on at the<br />
Power buttons.<br />
Network interfaces<br />
The following network functions are provided using the network interfaces at the<br />
back panel of the matrix switch <strong>CATCenter</strong> <strong>NEO4</strong>:<br />
carrying out the network configuration of the matrix switch<br />
authentication against directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, RADIUS,<br />
TACACS+)<br />
time sync via NTP server<br />
sending log messages to the syslog server<br />
carrying out firmware updates and backups<br />
These functions of the matrix switch <strong>CATCenter</strong> <strong>NEO4</strong> are operated using the web<br />
application Config Panel. They are separately described in the manual of the web<br />
application.<br />
Network configuration<br />
Hint: The IP address 192.168.0.10 is presetted in the default settings.<br />
The network settings have to be carried out in the OSD to reach the matrix switch<br />
in the network.<br />
The required settings are described in the Operating Guide in the chapter Network settings<br />
on page 105 ff.<br />
