The following figure shows how to connect the first slave device within the first<br />
cascade level at the master device:<br />

The CPU ports 1 - 4 of the master device are connected with one twisted pair cable<br />
each. Each of these cables is attached to a Console port of the slave device.<br />
If a second slave device is to be connected to the master device, connect the CPU<br />
ports 5 - 8 to the Console ports of the second slave device.<br />
Proceed as described to connect the third and fourth slave devices.<br />
Hint: When the maximum number of four slave devices is connected to the master<br />
device, no targets can be connected to the master.<br />
