Maintenance of the machine happens for preventing rust<br />
and wear end tear. The maintenance consists mainly of<br />
clearing and oiling. It certainly is not sufficient to handle<br />
only the oil-syringe. Chips and waste of the machine<br />
parts have to be removed very regularly, often more<br />
times during turning. Otherwise there is the possibility it<br />
lands between moving, slipping and turning parts. For<br />
this reason chips bulldozers on the cross slide have been<br />
