Abstract<br />
In this bachelor-thesis the threedimensional structure of polar mesospheric<br />
summer echoes (PMSE) is examined. The assumption is being<br />
made, that some tilted layers are in fact the front of a gravity wave.<br />
From the threedimensional structure of two of this tilted layers waveparameters<br />
are <strong>der</strong>ived. The periode which is determined from this is<br />
compared with the wavelet spectum of the background wind in or<strong>der</strong><br />
to corroborate the belief of a tilted gravity wave front.<br />
