3.3 Camera platform to the VPT-601 body
The camera angle is equipped with a bore grid on the vertical axis for the vertical side. Thanks to this vertical axis, it is possible to fit the camera angle at various
heights on the pan/tilt unit and to therefore ensure the camera body is fastened at the centre of gravity.
4 M5 hex head screws will be required to affix the camera angle on the VPT-601.
The tilt output shaft is fitted with 8 mounting holes allowing it to affix the camera angle on a 45° grid. This way, after initialisation, the camera angle can be set in a
horizontal position but this is not compulsory.
(In this context, dip switch S3, position 8, must always be OFF)

NOTE:
For the VPT-601 with the „4 holes tilt output shaft”, it is essential to note that dip switch S3, position 8, is ON, in order to get a horizontal position of the camera angle
after initialisation.
3.4 Camera housing to the camera platform
The camera platform has several holes and slots at various positions on the bottom plate for mounting most types of camera housings.
Mount the camera housing so that the rear of the camera is adjacent to the rear of the VPT-601 body (see drawing).
IMPORTANT: After attaching the side cover, check that the cover seals are correctly seated.
