◗ Die großflächige Verwendung von dicken zu
– und ausgeschnittenen Edelstahlblechen im
Fassadenbau verbreitet sich zunehmend.
Es werden dazu warmgewalztes Blech mit
Dicken zwischen 5 und 20 mm oder stärker
eingesetzt, die Abmessungen von bis zu
3,50 m x 14 m erreichen können. Für diese
Anwendungen vermarktet ArcelorMittal
Industeel die Edelstahlsorte 1.4362 (2304)
der Duplex-Gruppe.
Dieser Edelstahl ist bei gleichwertigem
Korrosionswiderstand im Vergleich zu klassischen
Edelstählen wegen des geringen Nickel-Anteils
weniger von Preisschwankungen dieses
Legierungselements betroffen. Es kann leicht
geschweißt werden und ist mit einer matten
oder polierten Oberfläche erhältlich.
Ein Referenzobjekt ist das Französische
Ministerium für Kultur und Kommunikation
von Francis Soler und Fédéric Druot in Paris.
Die beiden Gebäude, die einer vollständigen
Sanierung unterzogen wurden, werden mit
einem ausgeschnittenen Netz bekleidet,
das aus Edelstahl-Blechen mit den
Abmessungen von 3,18 x 3,88 m
und einer Dicke von 12 mm besteht. ◗
◗ The use of thick stainless steel sheet
cut in the mass is increasing in the area of
façades. Hot rolled sheet is used with
thicknesses of between 5 and 20 mm
or more, in dimensions that range up to
3.5 x 14 m. For these applications,
ArcelorMittal Industeel markets stainless
steel from the duplex family, type 1.4362
(2304).
This stainless steel with low nickel
content is less sensitive to price
fluctuations for this alloy element while
providing equivalent corrosion resistance
to standard stainless steels. It is easy to
weld and can be used mat or polished.
The reference example is the façade
of the French Ministry for Culture and
Communication in Paris, by Francis Soler
and Frédéric Druot. The two buildings
that have undergone complete renovation
are dressed in a cut-out web, comprised
of panels of polished stainless steel
measuring 3.18 x 3.88 m and
12 mm thick. ◗
