Das Arbeiten und Leben mit Strom birgt Risiken. Normen und staatliche
Richtlinien wollen diese Risiken minimieren und Installateuren,
Monteuren und zu guter Letzt auch dem Endnutzer mehr Sicherheit
bieten.
Geprüfte und zertifizierte Produkte geben dem Installateur Sicherheit
bei der Montage und die Gewissheit, dass das Produkt
seine Funktion über viele Jahre erfüllen wird. Ausserdem bleibt die
abschliessende Haftung bei einem durch Electrosuisse zertifizierten
Produkt im Schadenfall beim Hersteller der Komponente.
AGRO liess ihr Labor von Electrosuisse überprüfen, weil sie das
TMP-Zertifikat anstrebte. TMP bedeutet: Testing at manufacturer
premises. Die offizielle Zertifizierungsstelle stellt fest: „Das AGRO-
Prüflabor erfüllt die relevanten Kriterien für die Anerkennung von
Prüfberichten nach OD ECS 37 und sie entsprechen den Anforderungen
von ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (Allgemeine Anforderungen an
die Kompetenz von Prüf- und Kalibrierlaboratorien).“ Im Klartext
heisst dies: „AGRO AG verfügt über das nötige normative Wissen,
um Produkte schnell und sicher zu prüfen. Die Prüfberichte des Labors
sind die Grundlage für die Zertifizierung eines Produkts durch
Electrosuisse.“
Was nützt das dem Kunden aus der Elektrobranche, Maschinen
und Automatisierungsindustrie?
Working and living with electricity inevitably involves risks. Standards
and government directives have the goal of minimising these
risks and offering additional safety to electricians, fitters and most
of all the end user.
Products which have been tested and certified provide the fitter
with security during installation and assembly, and this testing
also provides the certainty that the product will perform its function
for many years. Furthermore, the final liability for damage or injury
caused by a product certified by Electrosuisse lies with the component
manufacturer.
AGRO had its laboratory examined by Electrosuisse because it
wanted to receive the TMP (Testing at Manufacturers’ Premises)
certificate. The official certification office established that:
“The AGRO test laboratory meets the relevant criteria for recognition
of test reports according to OD ECS 37, and they meet the
requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2005 (General requirements for
the competence of testing and calibration laboratories).” In simple
terms, this means that “AGRO AG has the necessary knowledge
of standards and test procedures which allow it to test products
quickly and safely. The laboratory’s test reports are the basis for
having Electrosuisse certify a product.” What value does this have
for customers from the electrical or machinery sectors or automation
industry?
