Next generation of digital mixing!
Native Instruments take their own
mixing software to a new level,
Traktor DJ Studio 3 is available!
This third release goes beyond all
boundaries and after starting it the
first time even leaves experienced
users of the prior versions a bit
at a loss.
Most eye-catching are the two new
players. Four fully equipped players
can be run at the same time,
synchronizised with each other.
Via the master and slave function
you direct which track leads the
beat. The effects and equalizers
can be set individually for each
player and they do have the
power: the effects bite firmly and
allow a totally new quality of
transitions.
Two different filters and essentials
like Delay, Reverb and Flanger
are available. Also the equalizer
section has grown up, next to the
regular 3-band Traktor-EQ you find
professional emulations of legendary
mixers Dynacord P600, Ecler
Nuo4 and Allen & Heath Xone
92. When you have chosen one
of the EQ‘s, you can choose and
manage the adjustments for each
player individiually, in the interplay
Traktor will reward you with amazingly
weird sounds. For the final
kick you get the same options on
the master channel as well.
Deck A/B
The user interface
has also been optimized
thoroughly.
Many items you will
need to use frequently
are assembled in
the header top of
the screen, such as
loop, cue, record or
channel effect.
Just click one of the
four preset buttons
and arrange the
desired modules
via mouse. With the
dropdown menu
layout selector you
can change the whole layout of the
interface with one click. You choose
whether two or four players
should be shown, as well as the
amount and view of a tool adjustment
depending whether you have
chosen the mixing, browsing or
effects view.
Different context menus that
you to complicate and disturb
the workflow before have been
replaced by direct access. You
don‘t have to open the attribute
window of the track browser anymore,
you simply do your changes
right in the browser view, which is
much more comfortable and will
save time.
The analyse function, designed to
scann the track and collect values

before. With a fast internet connection
and free Icecast account you
can broadcast the output signal
live and directly on the web. But

and save a mix.
