den Pionieren des Psy
Trance zu erwarten ist,
gibt es zehn unveröffentlichte
Dancefloor
Smasher. Sound für den
Höhepunkt der Party,
modern, schlank, bissig
- aber natürlich bleiben
die beiden ihrer Vorliebe
für uplifting Melodien
treu, und so gib es kein
Geballer, sondern stramme Tracks für
Tänzer mit dem Kopf in den Sternen.
Den Anfang machen Astral Projection
und elektronischer Musik ist, weiß der
aufmerksame Leser schon lange. Zum
Ende des Jahres erfreut er uns mit einer
Compilation, eine der besten Progressive
Trance CDs des Jahres. Geprüfter
Sonntagnachmittag Sound, bei dem
Trance nichts mit Geschwindigkeit zu tun
hat, denn kaum ein Track ist schneller als
130 bpm. Ganz Gefühl und Stil eröffnet
Kai den Reigen warm, satt und groovig,
lässt von Antix etwas Gesang einstreuen
und Son Kite das Ganze zuckersüß
garnieren. Human Blue und Atmos im
trockenen Remix halten das Niveau
weiter hoch und Tänzer bei Laune. Auf
CD 2 gibt’s dann das Sahnehäubchen
mit Kirschen (unter anderem Jaia,
Transmotion, Peter Gun, Andromeda,
Lish). Pflichtkauf.

von Electro Sun, Bizzare Contact,
Xerox, U-recken (sehr Hit verdächtig)
mit Gesang und zum Abschluss
der einzige Track unter 145

that Astral Projection is a
legend from the early days
founding the reputation of
Israeli psytrance with fast,
euphoricly glittering music.
After a full super star career, they later
on released some albums repeating the
concept, but loosing the energy while
Attentive readers know that our music
editor DJ Kai Mathesdorf is a connoisseur
in trance and electronic music. Now he
pleases us with a progressive trance
selection which I would pick as one of the
best in 2005. Ecstasy sunday afternoon
music, defining trance not in terms of
pace - slowly, stylish and emotional in the
first disc. CD 2 then is true cherry picking,
tracks to heat up every indoor floor this

V.A. (Phonokol) CD
Schwerere Kost von den Chefköchen Mr
O.K. und Holly. Es sind die ganz Großen
von Phonokol vertreten: Sub 6, Dynamic,
DNA, Yahel, Gataka sowie E-Jekt. Ich
möchte nicht sagen, dass diese CD
other artists from da holy land like
Infected, Astrix or Alien Project drove
them out and showed how to produce
modern bass lines. Last years you found
AP‘s names only at mastering credits,
but they are still alive and producing
– and back to galaxy. They have done
an outstanding compilation for Compact
now including some big old and lot of
big fresh names from the Israeli hall
of fame. Lior and Avi open it by themselves
with an up to date production.
AP-like you might find the bliss of intros
and breaks which help you melt into a
string of energetic tracks and a strictly
positive mood. Carpe diem. Trust in

Full On. Solide produziert,
lebt er eher
vom recht starren
und linearen Aufbau.
Diese Compilation funktioniert auf einer
Party und ist durchgehend schön abgedreht,
hebt sich aber leider nicht ab.
Mr O. K. and Holly deliver hard stuff by
the likes of Sub 6, Dynamic, DNA, Yahel,
Gataka and E-Jekt. I can �t say this CD is
surprising or special but it is Phonokol
Sound, pure Israeli full-on at its best.
Top level productions in effective linear
structures, which are nice enough and do
