This is a re-edition of a release sold-out
long ago, a 3CD encyclopedia of the
early times of electronic music with
110-page booklet and newly added DVD,
starting 30 or 40 years before the likes
of Kraftwerk. The music is experimental,
crazy, eclectic stuff, sometimes a bit
scrubby as heard from today. Most of
all it’s impressing how it was possible
to create atmospheres so intense from
equipment so uncomfortable. Cage,

relaxed, melancholic and beautiful all

Indische Tablas, Didgeridoos und
Folkinstrumentierungen fügen sich
federleicht ein, fließen mit knackigen
Tiefbässen zu aufregenden
Soundlandschaften zusammen. Wahrlich
beachtlich.
Germans Andreas Piesch and Roland
Jacob are entering the international
scene with an outstanding downbeat
album. Psychedelic by an intense soundscape
with ethno samples, rich instrumentation
and deeply floating basses. It‘s
well rounded and fits perfectly, a beautiful
walk through reality and imagination.

Gabba Downbeat und experimentellem
Techno. Aber die DVD ist spannend. Yann
Richet folgt mit seiner Kamera einer
Gruppe von Idealisten über die Straßen
Osteuropas, begleitet sie auf Free Partys
und fängt dabei eindrucksvoll den Spirit
der Partys ein.
This is something in between disturbing
Gabba downbeat and fast furious
experimental techno, but still comes
with this very nice DVD. Free parties are
also a way of travelling and creating,
exchanging and sharing experiences.
This is what Yann Richet enables us to
discover, with a documentary road-movie
filemd while travelling in a group of idealists
through Eastern Europe (Hungary,
Czech Republic, Romania) spreading the
word of free parties and rediscovery of
the original spirit. It is still alive at least in

Das zweite Album vom Kaya Project
– aber ich mag nicht entscheiden, welches
besser ist. Sehr schöner Downbeat
mit dem gewissen orientalischen Feeling.
Frische
Ethnobeats,
Gitarren, Flöten
und eine
Menge Gesang
erschaffen eine
ruhige, aber
energetische
Stimmung.
The second
release of Kaya Project and I can’t tell
which I like best. Excellent downbeat
with a lot of oriental feeling. Fresh ethnic
beats, guitars, flutes and lots of chants
create a relaxed, but energetic atmosphere.
