Zum Messeprogramm von Storopack<br />

Das Konzept „working comfort“ soll Packplätze<br />

vonLogistik-Software. Dabeiwirdbasierend<br />
aufden vorhandenen Auftragsdaten zu jeder<br />
Sendung eine automatische Auswahl der<br />
Kartongrößegetroffenund die optimaleReihenfolge<br />
beim Pickingfestgelegt. Dies optimiert<br />
imSinne von Nachhaltigkeit den zu<br />
füllenden Hohlraum im Paket. ◾<br />

packaging areas”, the project partners<br />
have commissioned the Karlsruhe Institute<br />
forConveyorTechno<strong>lo</strong>gyand Logistics Systems<br />
to work out amethod for structuring<br />
and assessing transport packaging areas in<br />
distributioncentres. Afurther innovationis<br />
the cooperation with aprovider of <strong>lo</strong>gistics<br />
software in theUSA. On thebasis of existing<br />
contractdata, thebox size foreachdispatch<br />
will be selected automatically and the optimum<br />
picking sequence determined. With<br />
sustainability in mind, this optimises the<br />
emptyspace to be filled in thepackage.<br />
