Monaco shows us a world of luxury. Contained on a
tiny area, the Principality of Monaco offers everything
needed for a luxury lifestyle: exquisite culinary
delights, open-air events, fantastic views and gambling.
You can get rich here if you have luck at the roulette table
but it is more likely that you will empty your wallet but gain
experience.
Sleep
The Hôtel de Paris with its own private beech is probably one of
the most beautiful places in the world. Situated in the heart of the
city and surrounded by places worth seeing, like the Casino and
the Monte Carlo Opera House. The Hôtel Hermitage, a 5-star
hotel with view of the sea, presents itself equally elegant. The
amenities include for example: a piano bar and a conservatory
with works of art by Gustave Eiffel.
Eat
The Monacan cuisine is a Mediterranean cuisine and is celebrated
in all corners of the city. Very good interpretations are
served in the listed building of Salle Empire. Another gourmet
temple that has an excellent rating is Louis XV-Alain Ducasse.
The Chefs de Cuisine Dominique Lory and Alain Ducasse
spoil their guests with modern Monacan culinary delights.
Shop
Cercle d’Or is situated in the city centre and surrounded by
high-fashion boutiques. This is where you breathe luxury
and where the credit card is excessively used or the casino
winnings, if any, are spent again. Hermès, Céline, Prada,
Chopard and many others look forward to customers. You
can also find all sorts of souvenirs at reasonable prices in the
avenues of the old town centre.

The Cinq Mondes Spa takes you on a journey of the senses
through various spa areas. It unites Indonesian, Japanese,
Middle Eastern, Polynesian and Brazilian beauty rituals for
women and men. Besides a wide range of spa and wellness
offers, the Thermes Marins exploit the latest technologies in
terms of slimming, detox, anti-ageing and energy boosts.
Explore
Visitors to the Oceanographic Museum learn to love the
oceans – as was the intention of the founder, Prince Albert
the First. Built on Monaco’s coast, the aquarium attracts
visitors with collections of natural history, the shark lagoon
and the turtle island. Another must-see is the Jardin Exotique,
an idyllic garden that unites an astonishing range of different
plants. A visit in spring and summer when numerous cactuses
blossom is particularly nice. No matter how long you enjoy
the beauty of nature, you will miss out on something if you
do not visit a casino during your stay in Monaco. Regardless
of whether or not a gambler’s heart beats inside you, you
should sometimes leave your luck to chance.
