mr Felix, in your two shops you present interior design and
flowers. what is the philosophy behind this?
it is life focusing on beauty, where aesthetics are paramount
and the individual is at the centre. Also the aim that we are striving
to offer our customer a “sense of well-being” in our work.
the existing elements. trust is crucial in this process and that
the chemistry is right, but also that you understand the customer
completely. therefore, i work with the best suited person
respectively from my team, to be in a position to reflect,
for example, both the female as well as the male perspective.
what do you focus on in particular when designing a perfectly
harmonised living area?
We always try to create a good blend of everything. the use of
beautiful textures, exquisite materials and the right balance between
wood, stone, glass and textiles for example creates a wonderful
fusion of both the sensory and the technical-functional
elements of a living area. the use of exclusive, unique pieces
and the highest level of quality are central to our work. We collaborate
solely with the best manufacturers such as loro Piana,
rubelli, donghia, Promemoria or even ralph lauren, who almost
exclusively supply us with custom-made pieces.
your floral arrangements of real and handcrafted artificial
flowers have earned you a reputation far beyond your domestic
borders. where did this “floral” passion originate?
it developed at a very early age. i grew up on a farm where
my mother took great delight in highlighting flowers in her
arrangements. As there was no money to be made as a florist
in those days, i decided to do an apprenticeship in gardening
and later become a florist in Zurich.

furnishings, be selected extremely subtly and attuned to individual
personalities.
when developing the complete concept, which aspect do
you consider especially fascinating and significant?
of course, we can design for vacant spaces but it is interesting
when a customer wants to combine an existing concept with
a new one. Creating harmony between the two concepts and
transforming the result into a contemporary mood is an exciting
