Das 15. Indische Filmfestival <strong>Stuttgart</strong> lockte im<br />
Juli etwa 5.000 Besucherinnen und Besucher ins<br />
Metro pol Kino <strong>Stuttgart</strong>. Neben der alljährlichen Landesfilmschau<br />
Anfang Dezember ist das Indische Filmfestival<br />
<strong>Stuttgart</strong> Mitte Juli das große Event des Filmbüro Baden-<br />
Württemberg. Die fünf-tägige cineastische Indienreise<br />
begeisterte das Publikum mit brillanter Filmkunst und<br />
unterhaltsamen Sommerhits des indischen Kinos. Einen<br />
besonderen Stopp legte das Programm in Mumbai ein, seit<br />
50 Jahren <strong>Stuttgart</strong>s indische Partnerstadt. Für die Baden-<br />
Württembergische Staatssekretärin Petra Olschowski im<br />
Ministerium für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst ist das<br />
Indische Filmfestival <strong>Stuttgart</strong> eine Plattform für politische,<br />
gesellschaftliche und soziale Themen.<br />
Andreas Lapp, Honorarkonsul der Republik Indien<br />
für Baden-Württemberg und Rheinland-Pfalz, lobte die<br />
Festivalmacher vom Filmbüro Baden-Württemberg e. V. für<br />
ihr Engagement, dem Publikum in <strong>Stuttgart</strong> einen realistischen<br />
Blick auf Indien zu bieten. Das 16. Indische Filmfestival<br />
<strong>Stuttgart</strong> findet vom 17. bis 21. Juli 2019 statt.<br />
In July, the 15th Indian Film Festival <strong>Stuttgart</strong> drew<br />
around 5,000 visitors to the Metropol Kino <strong>Stuttgart</strong>. In addition<br />
to the annual Landesfilmschau at the beginning of December,<br />
the <strong>Stuttgart</strong> Indian Film Festival in mid-July is the big event of<br />
Filmbüro Baden-Württemberg. The five-day cineastic trip to<br />
India thrilled the audience with brilliant film art and entertaining<br />
summer hits from Indian cinema. The programme made a special<br />
stop in Mumbai, <strong>Stuttgart</strong>’s Indian twin city for 50 years. The<br />
16th Indian Film Festival <strong>Stuttgart</strong> will take place from<br />
July 17 to 21,2019.<br />
