Talks held in May and new chances and possibilities<br />
for the Republic of North Macedonia.<br />
Vienna Economic Forum organised<br />
the “Vienna Economic Talks - New<br />
Perspectives for the Republic of<br />
North Macedonia”, which was the<br />
first international conference abroad<br />
for the country - why now?<br />
It was an honour and a privilege for<br />
Vienna Economic Forum to welcome<br />
this high-ranking delegation led by<br />
H.E. Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, who<br />
is also a patron of Vienna Economic<br />
Forum, together with other Prime<br />
Ministers of the VEF member countries.<br />
Now is a new beginning for the<br />
Republic of North Macedonia and<br />
a very important time regarding the<br />
future direction of the country, of<br />
the region, of Europe and even of<br />
its European role as a global player.<br />
Three important events have come<br />
together in a historically short time:<br />
the parliamentary elections and the<br />
election of the government of Prime<br />
Minister Zaev, the solving of the name<br />
issue with the neighbouring country<br />
Greece and the presidential election.<br />
Due to this, the Vienna Economic<br />
Forum decided to organize these talks<br />

is to assist the<br />
new beginning of the<br />
