He is a full professor at the General Hospital,
Medical University of Vienna and
holds an MBA from the University of
Chicago. Professor Zimpfer trained as a
cardiologist, and previous assignments
included Harvard Medical School and
Duke Medical Center for Outcomes
Research in North Carolina. Professor
Zimpfer is a member of the Society of
Friends of the Weinzmann Institute of
Science and served as a visiting professor
at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital
in Ryadh, Saudi Arabia.
Prof. Zimpfer’s success can be attributed
