Welches war das Highlight in der ersten Andermatt
Music-Saison?
MAX FANE: Maestro Daniel Barenboim in Andermatt
zu empfangen, war ein aussergewöhnlicher
Höhepunkt der Saison und sogar meines bisherigen
Lebens. Ein weiteres Highlight war
das Mittagskonzert mit Nikita Boriso-Glebsky
(Violine) und Georgy Tchaidze (Klavier). Ich
würde gerne mehr Mittagskonzerte organisieren,
weil dabei das Tageslicht nahezu mystisch
durch die einzig artige Glasfront in die Konzerthalle
strömt.
Wie unterscheiden sich das Young Artist
Concert Programm und die Festivals?
Das Young Artist Concert Programm ermöglicht
der breiten Bevölkerung den Zugang zu klassischer
Musik. Diese Konzerte sind oft eher informelle,
intime Anlässe und bieten eine grossartige
Möglichkeit für junge Leute und alle jene, die
sonst nicht unbedingt ein klassisches Konzert
besuchen würden. Die Festivals sind Schwerpunkte
über das ganze Jahr, an denen wir einige
der grössten Musikerinnen und Musiker der
Welt präsentieren. Bei diesen Anlässen kann
das Publikum in ein beispielloses Erlebnis
ein tauchen. Natürlich sind diese Festivals auch
die perfekte Möglichkeit für auswärtige Gäste,
das Dorf zu besuchen und kennenzulernen.
Was sind die Pläne für Andermatt Music?
Aktuell möchten wir erreichen, dass sich die
Bevölkerung von Andermatt in der Konzerthalle
willkommen fühlt. Wir ermutigen sie, unsere
Programme zu entdecken. Längerfristig wollen
wir auch ein internationales Publikum für unsere
Festivals aufbauen und dazu beitragen, den
aufstrebenden Ruf von Andermatt zu stärken.
Do you have a personal highlight of the first
Andermatt Music season?
MAX FANE: Hosting Maestro Daniel Barenboim
was a truly exceptional highlight of the season
and my life so far. One of my other highlights was
the lunchtime concert with Nikita Boriso- Glebsky
(violin) and Georgy Tchaidze (piano). I would love
to do more lunchtime concerts with the light
flooding through the unique glass window in the
Concert Hall.
Can you explain the differences between Young
Artist Concerts and the Festivals?
The Young Artist Concert Programme is designed
to be a way for the local community to access
classical music. These concerts are often more
informal, intimate affairs which have been a great
way for young people and those who wouldn't
necessarily go to classical concerts. Our festivals
are a focal point throughout the year where
we showcase some of the world's greatest
musicians. They are celebrations of our art form
and aim to immerse our audience in an exceptional
experience. Of course, these festivals are
also the perfect time for people from outside
Andermatt to visit and get to know the town.
How does the future of Andermatt Music
look like?
One of our key short-term goals is to make sure
that the local community feels welcome in the
Concert Hall, and to encourage them to explore
our programmes. On a longer-term basis,
we would like to build an international audience
for our festivals and help to build the budding
reputation of Andermatt as a destination.
