5.3.2 Standinstallation
In Niedervoltanlagen (Niedervolt-Beleuchtungsanlagen)
erlaubt.
Standeigene Stromversorgungsanlagen sind nicht
zulässig.
5.3.2 Stand Installation
Electrical installation work will be performed on order
and at exhibitor cost through Messe Westfalenhallen
Dortmund GmbH or its agent.
Within the stand, electrical installations may be performed
by the exhibitor’s electrician or a certified
electrical installation company in accordance with VDE
regulations (VDE = Association of German Electricians),
European regulations and current technical standards.
5.3.3 Installation and Operation Regulations
The entire electrical installation must comply with the respectively
applicable VDE regulations or EU norms (EN).
Special attention must be paid to VDE 0100, 0108, 0128
and the ICE standard 60364-7-711.
30 mA Fi protective system is prescribed for electrical
sockets and electric light circuits. Only cables such as
H05VV-F, HO5RR-F or HO7RN may be used. The minimum
cross section is to be in line with the pre-fusing
e.g. B 16 fusing -> minimum cross section 1.5 sqmm.
Fluorescent lighting fixtures are to be counterbalanced
single-compensation or lag-lead circuitry).
The proportion of high or low frequency power-grid interference
may not exceed values prescribed in VDE 0160
and VDE 0838 (EN 50 006).
Measures must be taken to protect electrically conductive
construction components against indirect contact
(stand grounding).
Only electrical leads with a cross-section of at least
1.5 sqmm Cu may be used – e.g. such as types NYM,
HO5W-F or H05RR-F.
Exception can be made for portable devices (equipment
etc.) with lead lengths of up to 1.5 m.
Bare electrical leads and clips may not be used with lowvoltage
devices (low-voltage lighting systems).
Rope systems must also be fully insulated.
Transformers and converters are to be protected with
primary and secondary circuit breakers under VDE regulations.
Lighting elements are to be secured against falling out.
Only lighting with protective covering is allowed.
Appropriate distance from flammable materials is to be
maintained with regard to heat accumulation.
Bare electrical leads and clips are not allowed for voltages
greater than 25V AC or 60V DC (protection against
direct contact is required).
Secondary leads are to be protected against short-circuit
and overload.
Drawing electrical current from neighbouring stands is
not allowed.
Independent electrical supply for stands is not allowed.
