Calibrating the Screen If the touchscreen is not responding properly, calibrate the touchscreen. 1. Turn off the nüvi. 2. Hold your finger on the middle of the screen. 3. Turn on the nüvi, and immediately slide the power button to the right (lock). 4. Continue to hold your finger on the screen for about one minute until the calibration screen appears. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions. 6. Slide the power button to the middle to unlock the screen. Or you can touch Tools>Settings>Display>Touch Screen, and select Recalibrate to adjust the sensitivity of the screen. Locking Your nüvi Garmin Lock is a theft-deterrent system that locks your nüvi.
