Outcome:
Strengthened Asian women’s ecumenical movement.
Visibility of Asian women’s increased involvement in Church and
society.
Partnership for sharing human and material resources among
member Churches , ecumenical partners and civil organizations to
promote women’s leadership development , gender justice and peace
building activities.
Emphasis and joint action plans and engaging in advocacy in
Churches to promote spirituality for women’s reproductive and health
justice issues.
Visibility and action plans for men and women partnerships to
overcome violence against women, children and mother earth.
I would also like to share that Mrs. Tabing-Reyes, the Executive Secretary
of ICFLC, also accepted our invitation to attend this women’s forum. She
also conducted morning worship and in her liturgy ‘Women Prophets of Asia’
she shared about Shanti Solomon and the FLC movement encouraging and
reminding the women leaders to carry on their commitment of promoting
FLC. She also moderated a creative workshop Session on Art and Dance
Therapy, an expression of Asian women’s spirituality and theology of life
‘WEAVING A TAPESTRY OF LIBERATION- FROM ASHES AND BROKENESS
TO HEALING’.
