FLC Messages and Reports 2011 - Fellowship of the Least Coin

Significant time was spent in outlining the strategic lines and challenges in
the region and creating mechanisms for a more fluid articulation that may
bring about a better communication in the region and the continent.
We thank the FLC for allowing Cecilia to hold this meeting, since the trip to
Puerto Rico allowed her to stop in the Dominican Republic, thus optimizing
resources available for the meeting that took place two days earlier in San
Juan, Puerto Rico.
Regional Gathering: Mesoamérica
In the city of Managua, Nicaragua, from 16 to the 17 of October, took place
the “Strengthening our networks” regional meeting of the Mesoamerica
PMJG, with the participation of the coordinators of the PMJG from the seven
countries that make up the region.
One of the highlights of our meeting was the visit of the Woman’s Hospital,
which is a reference in Managua and assists women with cancer, among other
specialties. The FLC supports these women through the project “Open doors”,
coordinated by the Rev. Blanca Cortés.
Regional Gathering: Río de La Plata
The city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, November 24-25 held the meeting of
the regional PMJG of Río de la Plata, with the participation of the PMJG
coordinators from the three countries that make up the region, as well as the
Argentina coordinator and the Youth organization from the same region.
Basic to the planning process was the strategic lines for the region and
the creation of
mechanisms that
would facilitate the

among the
regional and

components.

activities related to
