fourth generation Butcher, whose family has been well known<br />
in the meat industry for over seventy-five years. We’re agroup<br />
of passionate artisans; people who produce perfectly balanced<br />
smoked meats through Old World European traditions and a<br />
commitment to authentic quality. We know that fine chefs the<br />

North Country Smokehouse is recognized as a high quality processor of traditional fresh and smoked<br />
sausages, hams and bacons. From our real maple syrup breakfast sausages to our elegant smoked duck<br />
breasts, Chef’s the world over recognize both the quality and the versatility of North Country Smokehouse.<br />
Our Customers include five star hotels, white table cloth restaurants, airlines and cruise lines. We<br />
challenge today's chef's to create signature dishes utilizing North Country products as a culinary resource.<br />

North Country butchers still cure our products meticulously by hand, using maple sugar and traditional<br />
spices first brought back in the eighteenth century from the West Indies by Portsmouth sea captains. We<br />
smoke our foods slowly over carefully controlled cool burning fires of maple wood and corn cobs. This is<br />
the authentic New England farm smokehouse method perfected by colonists before the American<br />
Revolutions. We think this method produces far superior flavor to hickory smoking – and our customers<br />
agree. All of our foods bring you the magnificent flavor and the goodness of New England farmhouse foods<br />
