MCI 6258 Sculpture: Group of Deer by Paul Manship MCI Staff: Mel J. Wachowiak On-site 3-D scanning was coordinated with MCI equipment to produce an accurate documentation of the sculpture to prepare for the replication of the sculpture to replace the object in Central Park New York, missing since the 1970s. The SAAM sculpture is too fragile for moldmaking. MCI acted as the liaison with data processing specialists and the foundry for the replication of the sculpture. 163
