Prussian blue and indigo painted and dyed onto various commercially-available<br />

materials, such as Whatman’s #1 filter paper, silk, cotton, and wool were analyzed to determine<br />

if treatment of these materials and pigments in an anoxic environment would result in a<br />

detectable change in sample color and/or appearance. This project has expanded to include<br />

analytical measurements using a microfadeometer system.<br />
