Formartine & Buchan Way
The Formantine and Buchan Way is a 54 mile off-road route
linking Dyce with Ellon and Maud at which point it splits
into two lines, leading to Fraserburgh and Peterhead. The
route which also acts as an all year round wildlife corridor,
uses the trackbed of a former railway line to go through
rolling farmland. The nature of the Way makes it an ideal
recreational route between the various towns and villages
located along its length. Most sections are also suitable for
horseriding, cycling and all terrain pushchairs.
