Forvie National
Nature Reserve
The dunes on this part of the coast are an internationally
important site for birds. In spring you can see the largest
colony of eider ducks in the UK. There are good walks
through the coastal heath and mobile sand dunes. The
Visitor Centre has natural objects to touch, floor jigsaws
and information about the area. Other facilities at the visitor
centre include a purpose built classroom, which can be used
to accommodate group bookings and educational visits. For

Newburgh. Entrance at the
Ythan Estuary at Newburgh
