Nature Reserve<br />
This is the first <strong>area</strong> of unspoilt, natural coastl<strong>in</strong>e north of<br />
<strong>Aberdeen</strong> harbour. Look <strong>out</strong> for seals on the s<strong>and</strong> spit near<br />
the m<strong>out</strong>h of the river. Birds, <strong>in</strong>sects, <strong>and</strong> wildflowers are<br />
prolific <strong>in</strong> the salt marshes <strong>and</strong> s<strong>and</strong> dunes. Bats can be seen<br />
feed<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> the even<strong>in</strong>gs. Keep to the boardwalks <strong>in</strong> the <strong>area</strong><br />
around the s<strong>and</strong> dunes to prevent erosion. Descriptive leaflet<br />
