ACCLAIM This is a remarkably careful study of a little known Tibetan coming-of-age ritual as still practiced in rural Amdo, Qinghai Province, China. Structural analysis is complemented by a case study based on observations, interviews, recordings, <strong>and</strong> authentic folklore material in the original language. Pictures, tables, <strong>and</strong> a glossary complete the work. This is field anthropology at its best.
