A zhang leave, <strong>the</strong> sha nye return all <strong>the</strong> remaining food,<br />
cigarettes, liquor, <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> beer to <strong>the</strong> family <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> clean <strong>the</strong> pots,<br />
bowls, dishes, <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> basins used at <strong>the</strong> party. The name for <strong>the</strong><br />
small banquet derives from this. After 2000, <strong>the</strong> sha nye <strong>on</strong>ly<br />
returned <strong>the</strong> leftovers to <strong>the</strong> family <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> did not clean such<br />
items as menti<strong>on</strong>ed above. A family member must go to<br />
every sha nye member's home to invite <strong>the</strong>m to <strong>the</strong> banquet.<br />
The sha nye are served boiled pork, steamed stuffed<br />
dumplings, radish soup, steamed buns, fried bread, <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> tea<br />
by family members <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>the</strong>ir close village relatives. Then<br />
<strong>the</strong>y are offered liquor, beer, <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> cigarettes repeatedly. They<br />
drink from morning till afterno<strong>on</strong>. After drinking enough<br />
liquor <str<strong>on</strong>g>and</str<strong>on</strong>g> beer, <strong>the</strong>y leave for <strong>the</strong>ir homes, signaling <strong>the</strong> end<br />
of <strong>the</strong> hair changing ritual.<br />
