1 As a rule, it is the hundred ma sru who deserve a generous
offer, i.e., Chinese silk with different patterns <strong>and</strong> Indian
phrug with different colored stripes. However, (we) are
indeed unresourceful. 2 Therefore, one should say that the
hundred ma sru shall sound like cuckoos 67 with the offer of
a tea brick, five RMB, <strong>and</strong> one kha btags.
Tshe ring skyid said:
1 2 ད་ཁྱོས་མ་་ཚ་རབ་དང་རིམ་པའི་བཅོས་ནོ་འདིར། མ་་བ་ཐམ་པ་བོ་དགའ་དང་ནས་
ཡིན། དགའ་གས་ཟིག་འ་དར་ག་པའི་ཆར་འབབ་འབབ་ཟིག་ོས།
1You showed us, all ma sru, your appreciation again <strong>and</strong>
again. 2 The hundred ma sru are all happy about this, so
please, as a token of your appreciation, sing (mgur) just like
summer rain in the sixth lunar month.
Tshe ring rdo rje (b. 1984) took kha btags in his right
h<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> sang mgur to all the females first:
1 སེང་གེ་དཀར་མོ་གངས་ནས་འགྱིང་ན།།
2 ག་རལ་ོན་མོ་ག་ནས་ཡག་གི།
Song One
1 When the white lion stood proudly on the snow mountain,
2 (Its) blue mane was lustrous on the shoulders.
1 ་ག་དམར་བོ་ནགས་ནས་འམ་ན།།
2 འམ་ག་ཁྲ་མོ་ས་ནས་ཡག་གA,
1 When the fiery ferocious tiger glowers in the forest,
2 (Its) shiny stripes are fine-looking on its body.
67 Figuratively, the hundred ma sru shall be satisfied.
