someone's livelihood or reputation<br />
Slander, which is unspoken truth or embellishment <strong>of</strong> the reason for one's anger<br />
Maligning or taking the opportunity to let many others know what has been said or done<br />
Railing (venting)<br />
12. In the life <strong>of</strong> the believer illegitimate anger is to be put away.<br />
Ephesians 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:<br />
Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking,<br />
be put away from you, with all malice:<br />
13. One reason Christians should seek to put away anger is a desire to reflect the divine attribute<br />
<strong>of</strong> patience and grace.<br />
Psalms 103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in<br />
mercy.<br />
14. A person who is patient with others can make strife to cease.<br />
Proverbs 15:18 A wrathful man stirreth up strife: but he that is slow to anger appeaseth<br />
strife.<br />
