(p..164).that.knowledge.<strong>of</strong>.the.Afghan.herpt<strong>of</strong>auna.<br />

is. very. incomplete. with. many. species. yet. to. be.<br />

discovered,.particularly.in.the.Hindu.Kush.<br />

Appendix.3.lists.the.92.reptile.species.currently.known.<br />

from.<strong>Afghanistan</strong>..A.further.20.species.are.considered.<br />

as.“Uncertain”..One.<strong>of</strong>.these.112.species.is.a.tortoise,.<br />
