NICO LADENIS<br />
Opens his fi rst restaurant in Dulwich,<br />
aged 39. Several restaurants and 22<br />
years later he is awarded three Michelin<br />
stars at Chez Nico in 1995. In 1999 he<br />
tells Michelin he doesn’t want to be<br />
inspected any more, effectively handing<br />
back his stars.<br />

33, he becomes the youngest<br />
chef ever to gain three Michelin<br />
stars. Then hands them back.<br />
Currently appearing in Marco’s<br />
Kitchen Burnout on ITV.<br />
