To export a dashboard to Flash<br />

1 Open the dashboard in Design View or PDF View.<br />

2 Switch to Flash View by clicking the Flash View icon on the toolbar.<br />

If the Flash View icon is not available, you must enable Flash View.<br />

For instructions, see Determining the display modes users can<br />

choose to work in, page 56.<br />

3 From the File menu, select Export to Flash.<br />

If the Export to Flash option is unavailable, you must select Flash<br />

as an export format. For instructions, see the Document <strong>Creation</strong><br />

<strong>Guide</strong> or Desktop Help.<br />

4 Name <strong>and</strong> save the file. Do not change the file type.<br />

Formatting dashboards<br />

Determining the display modes users can choose to work in<br />

The document designer can select the modes that are available for a specific<br />

document by enabling each mode that you want to make available for users<br />

to view the document.<br />

For descriptions of the modes, see Display modes in <strong>MicroStrategy</strong> Web,<br />

page 8.<br />

To select display modes to be available to users<br />

1 In <strong>MicroStrategy</strong> Web, open a document in Design or Editable Mode.<br />
