to relax every muscle of the body during the exercises.<br />

The attitude of a cat watching a mouse hole affords<br />

an excellent illustration of relaxation. It sits in a perfectly<br />

easy position; calmly and quietly it waits for the<br />

appearance of the mouse. No energy is dissipated by fretfulness<br />

or anxiety. It quietly peisists in the faith that<br />

sooner or later opportunity will come. All its strength is<br />

reserved for the supreme moment when it springs to secure<br />

its prey. If the pupil will completely relax his muscles,<br />

calmly and quietly review the day's happenings in the<br />

evening exercise and concentrate upon a high ideal in the<br />

morning exercise, the nervousness will gradually disappear,<br />

and one day the opportunity will come; the spiritual sight<br />

will unfold.<br />
