Agenţia de Stat pentru Proprietatea Intelectuală este întreprinderea de
stat, care realizează protecţia juridică a proprietăţii intelectuale sub formă de
proprietate industrială, drept de autor şi drepturi conexe pe teritoriul
Republicii Moldova.
Înregistrează şi eliberează titluri de protecţie juridică a obiectelor de
proprietate industrială (OPI) invenţii, mărci de produse şi servicii, indicaţii
geografice, denumiri de origine şi specialităţi tradiţionale garantate, desene şi
modele industriale, noi soiuri de plante, topografii ale circuitelor integrate,
dreptului de autor şi drepturile conexe, înregistrează rezultatele cercetărilor
ştiinţifice etc. Înregistrează contracte de transmitere a drepturilor asupra OPI
(cesiune, licenţă, franchising). Atestă şi înregistrează reprezentanţi în
proprietate industrială. Pregăteşte şi reciclează specialişti în domeniul proprietăţii
industriale. Editează Buletinul Oficial de Proprietate Industrială
(BOPI). Acordă servicii de consultanţă în domeniul legislaţiei naţionale şi al
dreptului internaţional în domeniul protecţiei proprietăţii industriale,
efectuează cercetări documentare în domeniul brevetelor de invenţie şi
mărcilor. Evaluează obiectele de proprietate industrială.
The State Agency on Intellectual Property is the state institution
empowered to provide protection of intellectual property, including industrial
property, copyright and related rights in the Republic of Moldova
Registration and granting the titles of legal protection for the industrial
property objects (IPO): inventions, trademarks on products and services,
geographical indications, appellations of origin and traditional specialities
guaranteed, industrial designs, new plants varieties, topographies of integrated
circuits, copyright and related rights, registration of the scientific
investigations results, etc. Registration of contracts related to the transfer of
IPO rights (cession of rights, licenses, franchising). Attestation and
registration of the industrial property representatives. Training and improve
the staff in industrial property field. Publishing the Official bulletin on
Industrial Property (BOPI). Offers consultations regarding the national
legislation and the international right in the IP protection field. Information
searches in the field of inventions and examination of marks. Evaluation of the
industrial property objects.
