GiAMPAolo dAlMeRi<br />

Head of the Prehistory Section<br />

Born in Pergine (Trent) in 1952. in 1977 he<br />

obtained his degree in Geology <strong>at</strong> the university<br />

of Ferrara with a degree in human<br />

Paleontology. he works for about 35 years<br />

of prehistoric antiquity. conducts research<br />

projects sponsored by the Museum rel<strong>at</strong>ing<br />

the oldest alpine human popul<strong>at</strong>ion,<br />

especially in Trentino. currently <strong>di</strong>rects the<br />

research and palaeoenvironmental paletnologiche<br />

to shelter dalmeri Grigno in wetlands<br />

Palù echen in Folgaria and Malga<br />

Palù (Pl<strong>at</strong>eau Vezzene, levico-spa), a laget<br />

(Predaia-Val <strong>di</strong> non) and in the shelter of<br />

Monteterlago (Terlago). in the years ‘80-<br />

’90 he collabor<strong>at</strong>ed on numerous research<br />

projects on the Mesolithic in Trentino, in the valley and <strong>at</strong> high altitude ,<br />

and others with the Archaeological superintendence of Trento for excav<strong>at</strong>ions<br />

on <strong>di</strong>fferent histories in Val d’A<strong>di</strong>ge and Trentino West. he <strong>di</strong>scovered<br />

the shelter in 1990 he was named, and research and inter<strong>di</strong>sciplinary th<strong>at</strong><br />

followed under his <strong>di</strong>rection have shown exceptional employment-rel<strong>at</strong>ed<br />

human aspects, such as residential mobility, ways of life and hunting, art<br />

and rituals of the ancient hunter-g<strong>at</strong>herers of the l<strong>at</strong>e upper Paleolithic.<br />

since 1997, he coor<strong>di</strong>n<strong>at</strong>ed more than 30 theses (undergradu<strong>at</strong>e and Phd)<br />

in science Prehistoric Archaeological and cultural heritage to address. has<br />

particip<strong>at</strong>ed in 40 conferences / whorkshop n<strong>at</strong>ional and intern<strong>at</strong>ionally, in<br />

person or as a co-author, 20 posters and 30 oral communic<strong>at</strong>ions. he is<br />

co-author of about 100 works in scientific journals. he has published over<br />

250 scientific articles, popular science and book chapters. he is Associ<strong>at</strong>e<br />

or<strong>di</strong>nary of ‘italian institute of Prehistory and early history”, based in Florence<br />

(iiPP).<br />

Born in cles (Tn) February 28, 1982, received<br />

his Master degree in Prehistoric sciences <strong>at</strong><br />

university of Ferrara March 20th, 2009 with<br />

an elabor<strong>at</strong>e analysis of the lithic technology<br />

of the levels of the shelter sauveterriani Romagnano<br />

loc iii (Tn). on 21 March 2005,<br />

he received his Bachelor’s degree in cultural<br />

heritage, Archaeological and <strong>at</strong> the university<br />

of Trento, with an elabor<strong>at</strong>e analysis of the<br />

lithic technology levels sauveterrinai shelter<br />

Pradestel (Tn). since 2006 he collabor<strong>at</strong>es<br />

occasionally with the Tridentine Museum of<br />

n<strong>at</strong>ural science as a technical consultant / scientific m<strong>at</strong>erials for inventory<br />

and computeriz<strong>at</strong>ion of the collections in storage proto <strong>at</strong> the labor<strong>at</strong>ory of<br />
