Study Island, mentioned earlier in this report, is the diagnostic tool used this year; however, it should be noted that the tool was not fully implemented prior to the NECAP assessment in October 2010. Additionally, a concern regarding limited computer availability surfaced in interviews. Figure 11 displays the Study Island weekly usage data September 2010 through May 2011. 9 These data show a downward trend in the usage of Study Island over the year. The program was widely used in the first semester of the school year during grade nine and ten interventions. Figure 12 displays the overall school performance in all of the Study Island programs.
