etheraddr - get an Ethernet address<br />

SYNOPSIS<br />

/ etc/ etheraddr [slot]<br />

DESCRIPTION<br />

etheraddr prints the Ethernet address stored in ROM on the<br />

board in slot number slot.<br />

DIAGNOSTICS<br />

etheraddr exits with the return status 0 if an Ethernet interface<br />

<strong>and</strong> valid ROM are available. A nonzero exit status indicates<br />

failure to find or read an Ethernet address for the host.<br />
