UMOUNT FLAG OPTIONS<br />

The following flag options are interpreted for unmounting a file<br />

system:<br />

-h Unmount all file systems listed in /ete/mtab that are remotely<br />

mounted from host.<br />

-a Attempts to unmount all the file systems currently mounted<br />

(listed in / e t e / mt ab). In this case, device-file is taken<br />

from / ete/mtab.<br />

-v Provide verbose output; umount displays a message indicating<br />

the file system being unmounted.<br />

EXAMPLES<br />

mount /dev/dsk/eOdOs2 /usr<br />

mounts a local disk.<br />

mount -at 5.2<br />

mounts all <strong>System</strong> V.2 file systems.<br />

mount -t nfs serv:/usr/sre /usr/sre<br />

mounts remote file system.<br />

mount serv:/usr/sre /usr/sre<br />

mounts remote file system.<br />

mount -0 hard serv:/usr/sre /usr/sre<br />

mounts remote file system, but with hard mount.<br />

mount -p > /ete/fstab<br />

saves current mount table state in / et e / f stab where it will<br />

continue to be available to assist with the automatic mounting <strong>and</strong><br />

unmounting of file systems.<br />
