and First Street with a short spur adjacent to East Second Street. The upper level
parking has a small truck loading area to serve the retail store on East Second
Street. On H Street there is a large truck loading dock that can serve all buildings
in the development, existing and proposed.
2.3 Construction Sequencing
In order to maintain revenue while construction proceeds the proposed sequencing
of the work will be split into two phases. Phase 1 will be built on largely vacant
land demolishing only the Cooper Shop, leaving the Honeywell Building in place.
Phase 1 will be completed and occupied as construction proceeds into Phase 2,
entailing the demolition of the Honeywell Building to make way for the
residential units on Dorchester Street. This is illustrated in Figures 2-3 and 2-4.1,
2.4.2, and 2.4.3 below.
