IT is hereby notified, for general information, that the<br />
following alterations and additions have been made to<br />
the Goods and Coaching Rates Books, dated 1st December,<br />
1921:<br />

Page 112 (Add)." Goods ex ship on through bill of<br />
lading. Goods landed at :Prelim title on a bill of lading<br />
to that Port may be railed from :Premantle or North<br />
Fremantle to ,Bunbury, Busselton, or Albany at the<br />
special rate provided on page 112 of the Goods Rates<br />
:Book, provided that the goods are railed direct front<br />
ship's side, and the hill of lading is sighted by the<br />
Goods Agent, Fremantle, or Station Master, North Fremantle."<br />
Page 112 (Add)." Special rate for Fertilisers and<br />
Wheat, Fremantle to Ravensthorpe and site versa, on a<br />
through Bill of Lading.<br />
Fertilisers, Fronantle to Ravensthorpc.--A through<br />
bill of lading will be issued by the <strong>State</strong> Shipping Service,<br />
and the consigIlluents will be shipped Fremantle to<br />
Hopetoun, thence to Raveusthorpe by rail, at the throughout<br />
rate of 27s. 5d: per ton. Charges to be prepaid. The<br />
special rate includes sea freight, :Preuumtle to Hopetoun,<br />
wharfage and handling at Hopetoun, railage and sheetage<br />
Hopetoun to Raveusthorpe, but not handling at the<br />
latter station. Agency fees at 'Hopetoun not to be enforced.<br />
Wheat, Rawensthorpc to Fremantle.A through bill of<br />
lading will be issued by the District Station-master,<br />
Hopetoun. Consignments will be railed to Hopetoun,<br />
thence by ship to Fremantle, at the throughout Tate of<br />
29s. per ton. Charges may be prepaid or made to pay.<br />
The special rate includes railag,2 IRavensthorpe to Hopetoun,<br />
wharf haulage and handling at Hopetoun, sea,<br />
freight Hopetoun to Fremantle. Agency fees at Hopetoun<br />
not to be enforced. In the event of sheets being ordered<br />
and used to cover consignments between Ravensthorpe<br />
and Hopetoun, charges as per page 16 of Goods Rates<br />
Book to be levied in addition. The special rate does<br />
hot include handling' at Ravensthorpe.<br />
The freight on both fertilisers and wheat to be computed<br />
on dead weight.<br />
Consignment notes are to be regarded as bills of<br />
lading. Rail receipts are to be issued by the District<br />
Station-master, Hopetoun, for goods consigned front<br />
Ravensthorpe; these receipts must be produced before<br />
the goods can be obtained at Fremantle."<br />
