NOTICE is hereby given that at a Poll taken in the
Northam Shop District on Wednesday, the 4th day of
September, 1922, under the provisions of "The Factories
and Shops Act, 1920," on the resolution "Do you
vote that there shall be a late shopping night in this
district?" 826 electors voted " Yes " and 569 electors
voted "No." The resolution was therefore carried by
a majority of 257.
And on the resolution " Do' you vote that shops generally
throughout the district shall close at one o 'clock
p.m., on Wednesdays," 875 electors voted " Yes " and
4:96 electors voted " No." The resolution was therefore
carried by a majority of 379.

appoint JosephllcWhirmey, of Sydney, New Softh
Wales, Solicitor, a Commissioner of the Supreme Court
of Western Aust ilia, to administer or take, within the
State of New South Wales, any oath, affidavit, affirmation,
declaration, or acknowledgment by a married
woman to be used in the Supreme Court of Western
Australia. The Commission to remain in force until the
said Joseph c-Whinney ceases to reside in the said
State aforesaid, or until he ceases to Iractise the profession
of a Solicitor there, or until revoked.

VERMIN ACT, 1918.
,8ection 13 (Regulation 3).
WHEREAS it is provided by Section 13 of "The Vermin
Act, 1918," that the -Minister may, at his discretion,
delegate to the Chief _Inspector any of the powers
conferred by the said Act on the Minister, and whereas
-Fleury Kennedy Maley, Minister for Agriculture,
being the Minister charged with the administration of
the said Act, desire to delegate to the Chief Inspector
all my powers under the provisions of the said Act hereinafter
mentioned until such time as I shall revoke this
delegation: Now therefore I, the said Henry Kennedy
Maley, do hereby, in pursuance and exercise of the
powers and discretion conferred by the said Section 13,
and of all other powers me in this behalf enabling, delegate
to the Chief Inspector under the' said Act every
power conferred on me by Sections 55, 56, 67, 74, 77,
Subsection 3 of Section 79, Subsection 3 of Section 35,
Section 86, Subsection 4 of Section 87, and Sections 92,
94, 96, 100, 105, 113, and 114 of the said Act which it
is possible for me to confer on the Chief Inspector, and
so that as far as possible there shall be nothing which I,
or the Minister for the time being charged with the administration
of the said Act, can or might be able to do
in person under any of the aforesaid provisions which
may not be done under the authority of this delegation,
and r declare that this delegation shall continue in force
until revoked by me, or the Minister for the tune being
charged with the administration of the said Act, but
shall not affect the exercise by me, or such Minister as
aforesaid, of any power or function.

THE TiMUNICPPALITIES ACT, 1906.

Municipality of BussellonLoan of £2,500.
IT is hereby notified that the Council of the 'Municipality
of Busselton propose to borrow the sum of ii2,500
for the purpose of converting and increasing the power
of the Electric Plant.
Of this amount, £1,000 is to be borrowed from the
Savings :Dank at 614 per cent., repayable within 15
years. The balance of £1,500 is to be obtained by a,
Bank advance for that a ill (Milt at the current bank rate
of interest, repayable within two years.
