Peterman, an eighth-year player, is a tough, physical offensive guard who has<br />

manned <strong>the</strong> right guard spot for mo<strong>st</strong> of <strong>the</strong> pa<strong>st</strong> four <strong>season</strong>s. He signed<br />

a long-term deal with <strong>the</strong> <<strong>st</strong>rong>lions</<strong>st</strong>rong> in 2009 and continues to be counted on to<br />

help anchor <strong>the</strong> <<strong>st</strong>rong>lions</<strong>st</strong>rong> interior offensive line.<br />

¾ Has played in 74 career games (70 <strong>st</strong>arts).<br />

¾ Peterman fir<strong>st</strong> signed to Detroit’s practice squad in 2006 and was<br />

promoted to <strong>the</strong> active ro<strong>st</strong>er for <strong>the</strong> team’s final three games.<br />

an all-america and all-sou<strong>the</strong>a<strong>st</strong>ern Conference fir<strong>st</strong>-team selection as<br />

a senior, Peterman was a team leader and anchor of an offensive line that<br />

helped lead <strong>the</strong> lsU Tigers to <strong>the</strong> seC title and a win over oklahoma in <strong>the</strong><br />

sugar Bowl to capture <strong>the</strong> 2003 national title.<br />
