Personally Sponsored Consultant:<br />
A Consultant below Leader level that was sponsored by you.<br />
Promotion:<br />
Moving up one or more levels in the <strong>Compensation</strong> Plan by meeting the qualification criteria of a<br />
higher level.<br />
Qualified:<br />
A Consultant that has met all personal sales and qualified Consultant requirements for their level in<br />
the <strong>Compensation</strong> Plan.<br />
Qualification Criteria:<br />
Used to determine titles within the <strong>Compensation</strong> Plan. Depending on the level, this will include<br />
personal sales, Team sales, qualified Team members, qualified Personally Sponsored Consultants<br />
and qualified Leaders.<br />
Rebuild Period:<br />
When one of your Personally Sponsored Consultants becomes a Leader, your qualification criteria<br />
is reduced to four qualified Personally Sponsored Consultants and $4,000 Team sales for the three<br />
calendar months following the promotion. Personal Sales requirements remain at $1,000.<br />
Recognition Title:<br />
The level at which a Consultant is recognized. This may be higher than the qualified level,<br />
depending on the length of title retention at their particular level.<br />
Second Generation Leader:<br />
A First Generation Leader of one of your own First Generation Leaders.<br />
Simultaneous Promotion:<br />
Occurs when a Consultant and their Personally Sponsored Consultant both qualify as Leaders<br />
within the same calendar month. The first Consultant would become a Senior Leader, as they now<br />
have one qualified Leader whom they have personally sponsored.<br />
Sponsor:<br />
The person who personally sponsored you into <strong>Epicure</strong>.<br />
Team:<br />
The group of Consultants whom you have personally sponsored, or are in the downline of your<br />
Personally Sponsored Consultant.<br />
Team Sales:<br />
Total personal sales of your Team including your personal sales.<br />
Title:<br />
The name given to a specific level within the <strong>Compensation</strong> Plan, e.g. Senior Manager.<br />
Title Retention:<br />
If a Senior Manager or above does not achieve their qualification criteria, they will earn bonus<br />
commission at the level on which they qualify at. However, they retain their title for a set period of<br />
time, depending on the level at which they last qualified at. See pages 14–15 for more details.<br />
Upline:<br />
The Consultants above you in the <strong>Compensation</strong> Plan, whose Team you are on, or the Leader/<br />
Director that sponsored you, or your Sponsor. Typically, your upline earns bonus commission on<br />
your personal sales.<br />
