DERMSCAN performs In-vivo clinical studies and
biomedical researches. We are the French leader in the
evaluation of safety and efficacy of raw materials, finished
cosmetic products, food supplements, medical devices and
dermo-pharmaceutical products.
With our headquarters based in France, subsidiaries
based in Poland, Tunisia and Thailand and other overseas
partners, DERMSCAN offers an enlarged panel of
volunteers from several ethnic groups and enables faster
and cost-effective trials.
Our network of several investigating physicians, trained
staff and our rich database enable us to manage more than
3000 studies per year, using simple, standard protocols to
complex multi-parametric studies.
We are an ISO 9001: 2008 certified, authorized clinical trials
center and we conduct our trials following GCP guidelines.
We use the most recent and renowned equipments, which
are regularly revised and calibrated to take and register
our accurate measurements.
We are able to provide a global offer comprising all the
stages of pre-clinical and clinical trials.
New products
To constantly improve our services in clinical evaluation,
we have purchased the following equipment:
• Goniolux to measure skin radiance and shininess.
• An additional solar lamp to increase our capacity of
performing SPF and UVA evaluations.
• TiVi 600 to study micro-circulation.
• Primos Pico 3D acquisition system to study skin relief
(cellulite, wrinkles, etc.).
• Eotec fringe projection system to study skin relief.
• AGE-Reader to study skin ageing by measuring glycation
end-products.
Environment
The nature of our activity itself (service provider) implies
little impact on the environment since we do not manage
materials. Besides, the increasing use of computerized
documents instead of paper documents (electronic
management of documents) tends also to reduce the impact
of our activity on the environment.
