Active Polymers technology developed by AB7 industries
This technology remains on 3 main steps:
≥Formulation : The AB7 multidisciplinary team supported by public
laboratories and specialized industrial partners design, develop and
produce active devices which fit market request with respect to the
comfort of final users and the quality specified by pharmacy standards.
The active ingredients are formulated with other specific
ingredients. This step allows them getting into the polymer
network stabilized which optimizes the kinetic of release.
• Constant and controlled release over time after a peak: continuous administration contrary to an
oral medication or to a creme or gel application. • Long lasting effect, until several months (patch
maximum: 48 H) • Use commodity: one application only for a complete treatment • No negative
effects contrary to several tabs and cremes (too high dosage, concentration peak followed by an

The innovative BornWith Technology ® was invented and developed by AB7 industries.
This technology, applicated to Health Care, enables to continuously release different
actives upon contact with the skin. The release process can last from 1 week to several
months depending on the wanted effect. This duration is much higher than classical
transdermic devices life. Applications are numerous in the pharmaceutical area, in
veterinary care or cosmetics. Active principles or
natural substances are incorporated into BornWith
polymeric matrixes. The part of the body that has to
be treated is targeted thanks to an adapted shape
of the polymer matrix. It ensures an efficient,
continuous and long lasting
release of the actives to the
target. The structure of the selected polymers is chosen for a
better comfort upon contact with the skin and for a duration of
action depending on the function of the target to reach.
≥ Selection : Polymers are selected depending on their physical and
chemical characteristics as well as compliance with HSE (health,
safety and environment) regulations. The network of the polymer is
optimized in order to store efficiently the active ingredients.
≥ acquisition : The prepared active system is processed with the
polymer following a specific protocol, including temperature control.
