Complete Thomas
Cook’s Customer Service
Questionnaire to WIN
THOMAS COOK PRIDES ITSELF IN
providing the highest quality customer
service to ensure a positive holiday experience
for its customers. From airport check-in and
the inflight experience to accommodation,
excursions and Kids’ Clubs, feedback received
through the Customer Service Questionnaire
(CSQ) allows Thomas Cook to identify and
address any problem areas that may arise.
Over the last 12 months, 725,000 CSQs
were completed across Thomas Cook’s
mainstream package holiday and flight-only
customers, and customers of third-party tour
operators flying on Thomas Cook flights (e.g.
assessment of its services.
Completing a Thomas Cook CSQ only
takes a few minutes and the valuable
feedback you provide regarding your holiday
experience not only allows the airline to
maintain its high-quality standards, but
puts you in the running to win £2,500
worth of Thomas Cook holiday vouchers.
Last year’s CSQ winner Samantha Barnes,
who was recently presented her prize by
David Harris at Thomas Cook’s Milton
Keynes branch, is still deciding where it
will take her. Oh the possibilities…
IF YOU’RE TAKING YOUR HOLIDAY
in Fethiye this summer and want a true taste
of the destination’s culinary delights, why
not ask your rep for a free Driving Route
booklet? Full of easy-to-follow itineraries,
this guide allows you to explore and discover
the delights of Turkey at your own pace.
Stop at Yoruk Museum, a family-run
business that serves a delicious breakfast
of free-range eggs, homemade jams, local
breads, freshly squeezed fruit juices and
traditional Turkish tea. If you’re staying
in the Pine Valley, the Orka Hotels, Lykia
World or Asena Beach you’ll likely be eating
Taste of Fethiye fruit and vegetables, as
these hotels are committed to buying local
produce from nearby farmers. Look for the
businesses that support their destination
and its economy.
Small improvements for
optimum performance
Thomas Cook believes that small, strategic
improvements can transform into Gold
Medal standard, and has developed a "small
improvements" program dedicated to
increasing efficiencies across flight operations
without compromising its standard of safety.
As part of this program, Thomas Cook, in
partnership with airport operators, groundhandling
companies and air traffic and
navigation control, has launched its "Optimum
Flight" project. The initiatives involved
with this project include ‘constant descent
approaches’, which is a more gradual decent
of the aircraft when landing, and taxiing onto
airport stands using one engine instead of
two. These initiatives will ultimately improve
performance and Thomas Cook appreciates
your support on-route to reaching its
"Optimum Flight" objective.
Call for child protection
There are millions of children living or working
on the streets worldwide. All these children
are at risk of being abused and often travellers
unwittingly and unknowingly increase their
vulnerability. By increasing your awareness
of the issues, you can help protect children
worldwide. Certain 'tourist attractions' such
as orphanage or slum tours exploit children's
vulnerabilities for profit, while giving to begging
children or buying from them may be helping
to keep them on the streets and at risk. Taking
children to your hotel is not a good idea as the
charges for sex offenders are severe and you
may be suspected of being one despite
your best intentions. If you suspect a child is
being exploited, please call Crimestoppers
on +44 (0) 800 555 111 or contact the police.
