About This Guide Purpose Scope The Distributed Communications Processor (DCP) Series X.25 Packet Switched Communications Software (PSCS) enables communications between DCPs and other devices attached to supported packet-switched public data networks (PDNs), the Defense Data Network (DDN), and private packet networks. It also enables point-topoint connections between DCPs and other devices using the X.25 protocol defined by the International Telecommunications Union/Telecommunications Standardization Sector (ITU/TSS), formerly the Consultative Committee on International Telephone and Telegraph (CCITT). ——————————————————————————————————————— The DCP Series X.25 Packet Switched Communications Software (PSCS) Configuration and Operations Guide provides the information necessary to configure X.25 PSCS on a DCP.
