IV. Capt. Caleb Hyde (25), born at Windham, 9 April,
1699, the third son of Samuel Hyde (4) and Elizabeth
Calkins, was a grandson of Samuel Hyde (2) the first, and
Jane Lee, of Norwich. He m. 17 Sept., 1724, Mary
Blackman of Lebanon. They settled at Lebanon, where
he d. in March, 1764 ; and where she d. 3 Aug., 1783,
aged 76 years.

rV. David Hyde (26), bap. at Lebanon, Conn., 22 March,
1719, the fifth son of Samuel Hyde (4) and Elizabeth
Calldns, was a grandson of Samuel Hyde (2) the first, and
Jane Lee, of E'orwich, He m. early in 1740, Alathea
Bradford, b. 19 Sept., 1715, daughter of Joseph Bradford
and Anne Fitch of Lebanon. On the 24 Feb., 1740, at
Lebanon, they made confession, and owned the covenant.
His will was proved and allowed 12 May, 1741.
